Grant Newby Design... 7'5" x 25" x 3.25" ... Step rail, concave deck... Hull nose, deep single concave bottom... 2.5mm Paulownia ply deck and bottom... Lightwiegth glass and Kevlar interiors... Exterior 4oz. S-cloth... Resin Research epoxy... Paulownia ply fins with a carbon fiber core...Pictures of it hot coated, not sanded and polished...

(above) 1/8" paulownia plywood bottom skin...1.7 oz Kevlar interior reinforcement...

 (above) Frame on deck skin...  Interior ply is glassed with 1.7 oz fiberglass and glassed to the frame with fiberglass tape and epoxy...

(above) The pattern was a PDF printed at full scale, glued to the frame plywood and cut out...The design is significantly from Dick Van Straalen... I rode one of his epoxy step-rail-concaves at The Ally on the Gold Coast... Loved it... Grant Newby did the computer work and fine tuned it to the point where this design is all his...

The rails are cork, blue foam and plywood... 4 oz S-cloth over the whole thing, bottom too...
